GENERAL INFORMATION

NexPlay is a local music player application, independently developed and operated. This privacy policy describes how the application handles user information.

DATA COLLECTION

NexPlay DOES NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal user data. The application runs entirely on the user's device and does not communicate with external servers.

PERMISSIONS REQUESTED

The application requests the following permissions for its operation:

READ_MEDIA_AUDIO (API 33+) / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (API ≤32): Required to read and play music files stored on the user's device.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE + FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK: Required to continue playing music when the application is in the background.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required to display the music player notification.

None of these permissions are used to collect personal data.

LOCAL STORAGE

The application uses local storage (SharedPreferences) exclusively to: - Save theme settings chosen by the user - Save favorites and playlists created by the user - Save playback statistics

All this data remains only on the user's device.

DATA SHARING

NexPlay does not share any data with third parties. There are no ads, analytics, or tracking services integrated into the application.

SECURITY

As all data is processed locally on the device and no information is transmitted externally, there is no risk of data leakage through the application.
